Easiest Ways To Battle Stretch Marks Without Combat

Stretch marks are visible off-color lines on the skin surface. Stretch marks are mostly found in the belly area,  can also occur over the thighs, upper arms, buttocks and breasts as well.
Sometimes stretch marks can cover large portions of the body.

Although pregnancy is the main cause behind stretch marks, other reasons may be gain or loss in weight, rapid growth, hereditary factors, stress and changes in physical conditions.

The skin consists of three layers namely, Epidermis (the outermost layer), Dermis (the middle layer) and Hypodermic (the innermost layer). Stretch marks form in the dermis or middle layer of the skin when the connective tissue is “expanded” beyond it's elastic limit due to quick expansion or contraction of the skin.

Stretch marks appear on the skin surface when someone grows quickly, or puts on weight quickly.
Stretch marks can cause self-consciousness and make you very uncomfortable about your appearance.


Luckily, there are a number of natural ways to reduce or erase the appearance of stretch marks completely on your body.

They are:

1. Castor Oil
Castor oil, as it is used in the treatment of a number of skin problems such as wrinkles, moles, dark spots, and pimples, can as well be used to get rid of stretch marks.

Apply some castor oil to the stretch marks and gently massage the area in circular motions for 5 to 10 minutes.

2. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is effective in the treatment of many skin problems too. Its healing and soothing properties can be used to get rid of stretch marks also.

You can directly rub Aloe Vera gel on the affected area of your skin, leave it for at least 15 minutes and then rinse slightly warm water.
 
3. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is naturally acidic which helps to heal and reduce stretch marks, dark spots, and other scars.
Rub fresh lemon juice gently onto the stretch marks. Leave the lemon juice for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

4. Egg Whites (Albumen)
Eggs are undoubtedly very rich in protein. For stretch marks, only use only the egg whites, which contain amino acids and proteins.


Whip two egg whites together. Clean the affected area with water and apply the egg whites on the area. Leave the egg whites to dry completely and then rinse with cold water. You can apply some olive oil on the skin to keep it moisturized. Repeat the process everyday for a month and watch the stretch marks disappear.

5. Cocoa Butter
Cocoa butter is very effective in treating stretch marks. It helps nourish the skin and reduce the appearance of stretch marks because of its natural moisturizing power.

Always apply cocoa butter over the affected area at least two times a day for a few months to ensure positive results.

6. Sugar
Sugar is not meant for sweetening alone, it is also one of the best natural remedies to get rid of stretch marks and you can also use the sugar to exfoliate your skin.

Mix a tablespoon of sugar with some almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice. Mix it well and apply it on the stretch marks.

Gently rub the mixture on the skin for a few minutes every day before taking a shower. A whole month of practicing this regularly will see the stretch marks fading away.

7. Olive Oil
Olive oil contains quite a lot of nutrients and anti-oxidants that help fight various skin problems, stretch marks inclusive.

Massage slightly warm olive oil on the affected skin area. This will improve the blood circulation and reduce the stretch marks.

8. Water
Keeping your body well hydrated helps protect the skin from many kinds of problems and also aids in detoxification. It helps to keep the skin supple and restores elasticity.

Drink two or more glasses of water several times in a day. Experts say drinking up to 10 glasses of water per day is the best way to keep the body hydrated.

These natural remedies can help stretch marks fade really, but
they may not completely remove them. You can always consult your doctor if you feel greatly concerned about the appearance of stretch marks on your skin.
